(5) Duke at North Carolina State

#5 Duke (16-1) rebounded well with a 16-point victory over unranked Virginia and now must travel down Tobacco Road to face in-state rival North Carolina State (11-6).

The Blue Devils are 3-1 in the ACC and averages 86 points per game, good for 4^th in the nation. Nolan Smith leads the team in scoring with 20.1 ppg and senior Kyle Singler (17.7 ppg) and frosh Kyrie Irving (17.4 ppg) provide a solid foundation for a team that can fill-up the bucket, shooting .482 from the field as a team.

Senior forward Tracy Smith has returned from a lengthy absence and has sparked his team to wins in three of his first five games back. Smith leads the team in scoring with 15 points, while Ryan Harrow and C. J. Leslie average around 11 ppg each.

North Carolina State has lost to some tough competition, bowing to the likes of Syracuse, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgetown and they face a tough test against Duke.

After winning fifteen games to start the season, #5 Duke will be on a mission to regain their traction in the conference and in their season. Look for Duke to come out strong, though the Wolfpack have defended their home court well, losing just one game at the RBC Center, this should be the Blue Devils game, with ease.
