The Washington Capitals came out fighting in Game 2 of Eastern Conference Second Round. The Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby made 32 saves in the 4-1 win against the Penguins at Capital One Arena. Pittsburgh's center Evengi Malkin was out for Game 2 with a lower-body injury sustained in a collision with Jori Lehtera of Philadelphia flyers.
