MLB 2010 Playoffs - Yankees and rangers Set to Sweep MLB Picks Series: MLB fans of the New York Yankees and the Texas Rangers will certainly be bringing their brooms to the ballparks on Saturday, as both teams will try to wrap up their MLB picks series with victories. Home field advantage hasn’t done much good for The Tampa Bay Rays and the Minnesota Twins as they each lost the first two MLB Predictions games in the A.L.’s Division Series.
The Texas Rangers’ are Las Vegas odds favorites at -130 to win and advance to the ALCS. In their opening two games at home Tampa Bay could only muster up only one run. If they don’t take the bats off their shoulders and start swinging at a few strikes, there won’t be any fans at the airport to welcome them back home. Tampa Bay lost the first game 5-1, and got shutout 6-0 in game two. The Las Vegas Run Line lists Texas as -1 ½, +160 which will definitely warrant attention.
In the other A.L. Division Series, the New York Yankee’s are Vegas odds favorites at -170 to finish off the Minnesota Twins. Yankee starting pitcher Phil Hughes (18-8) faces Minnesota’s Brian Duensing (10-3). The Yankee’s haven’t had any problems at the plate in the first two games against the Twins as they have 21 hits so far in the series. There is no “weak portion” in the Yank’s line-up, as they are getting hits from top to bottom. The #1 hitting team in MLB Predictions regular season isn’t letting down a bit. Minnesota could use the help of fifteen million dollar a year first baseman Justin Morneau. Morneau is injured and will not return for the remainder of 2010.
The Yankee’s covered the 1 ½ point Vegas Spread in both Game 1 and Game 2. The -1 ½ , +115 might be the way to go on Saturday’s matchup at Yankee Stadium.
