Supercross is live from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN on April 14th. Round 13 from Seatlle was defeated by Eli Tomac with Jason Anderson and Marvin Musquin in tow. Musquin and KTM racing were victorious in Heat 1 in which he led 6 laps. Tomac and Kawasaki racing took the checkered flag in Heat 2 leading 6 laps in that heat with Jason Anderson and Husqvarna in second place.
The 450SX Main Event saw #1 qualifier Eli Tomac start in the third position lead 6 laps and take the Main Event and move into third position in the 2018 Rider Point Standings. Tomac and Anderson were trading places and fighting the muddy conditions of the track which brought the crowd to their feet. This is the 6th first place finish for Eli Tomac in the 2018 Monster Energy Cup Series.
The Rider Points Standings are led by Jason Anderson who has 288 points followed by Marvin Musquin with 251 points this betting odds season after 13 rounds.
Round 14 at US Bank Stadium will be a triple crown format. The 450SX class will compete in three Main Events. Qualifying races will deduce the field to the top 22 riders and those riders will compete in 8, 12, and 15 minute Main Events. An olympic style scoring method will be used to detemine an overall winner from all three events and the lowest combined score at the end will be awarded the overall win. Tomac took the first triple crown race at Anaheim and Anderson won the second at Atlanta. Opening ceremonies start at 6:30 pm with the first 450 SX main event gate dropping at 7:35pm.
