Chicago Bears 2010 NFL Predictions, NFL Schedule & Super Bowl Odds

NFL Odds 2010, NFL predictions, NFL picks, Vegas NFL lines, Vegas OddsChicago Bears 2010 NFL Predictions, NFL Schedule & Super Bowl Odds: A year ago, Chicago was buzzing about the potential for a big NFL predictions season when the Bears finally landed a franchise quarterback in Jay Cutler. Instead of the team rising to new heights, the Bears flopped, going 7-9 in a season of high expectations from Vegas NFL odds makers and sports betting enthusiasts. In the 2010 NFL schedule, the Bears will have to work hard to crack the tough NFC Central and Vegas odds makers have installed them with 15-1 NFL odds to represent the NFC in Super Bowl XLV in Dallas.

Cutler was a mixed bag in 2009, throwing for more than 3,500 and 27 touchdowns, yet he also threw 26 interceptions and was sacked more than 30 times. Overall, the Chicago Bears lack playmakers on offense. No receiver or running back reached 1,000 yards. Forte followed-up his outstanding rookie season with a subpar year in 2009. He will need to rebound in the 2010 NFL predictions season if the Bears running game is going to be more effective. Devin Hester, Earl Bennett, and Johnny Knox were underwhelming as a receiving group, though TE Greg Olsen was effective with 60 catches and 8 touchdowns. Someone from this group is going to have to emerge in the Bears 2010 NFL schedule.

Linebacker Brian Urlacher is back after missing virtually all of last season and his presence should lift-up the defense, especially against the run. In his absence, fellow LB Lance Briggs led the team in tackles, and was a force on the field. The Bears also added a dominant defensive end in free agent Julius Peppers. Peppers is the pass rusher the team lacked during last years NFL predictions season. His pass rush will take some pressure off the secondary that only intercepted 13 passes, with cornerback Zack Bowman getting 7 INTs.

The Bears play in the tough NFC Central NFL schedule in 2010, but will get a big lift from the return of Urlacher and the addition of Peppers, a premiere pass-rusher. The team needs to develop more playmakers on offense to take advantage of Cutler, the franchise quarterback they have lacked for so many years.
