Cleveland vs Kansas City NFL Week 2 Predictions, NFL Picks & Las Vegas Odds

clevend-browns-receiverCleveland vs Kansas City NFL Week 2 Predictions, NFL Picks & Las Vegas Odds: The Las Vegas odds makers must have seen something in the Cleveland Browns 17-14 NFL predictions loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to install the Browns as a -3(-110) point NFL picks home favorite over a team, the Kansas City Chiefs, that defeated the reigning AFC West champions at home on MNF 21-14. This week 2 NFL predictions contest is a rematch of one of the most entertaining NFL predictions contests of 2009. Cleveland earmned the NFL picks victory inn that December game 41-34 in a dramatic shoot-out that capped late season bursts of running backs Jerome Harrison of the Browns and Jamal Charles of the Chiefs.

The Cleveland Browns (0-1) were challenged offensively against the Bucs in last week NFL odds match-up, racking-up over 300 yards of offense but generating only 14 points in the NFL picks contest. Three turnovers, 5-13 on third downs, and only two trips inside the red zone added-up to a disappointing NFL predictions road loss. Jake Delhomme, in his debut with the Browns, threw for over 200 yards but was intercepted twice in the week 1 NFL picks contest, and was inaccurate on many throws. Jerome Harrison and Peyton Hillis combined for 93 yards and a touchdown, providing Delhomme with a nice complement. WR Mohamed Massaquoi and tight end Evan Moore were the main targets and could find room against the Chiefs, who were torched by the Chargers for 298 passing yards.

The Kansas City Chiefs (1-0) proved strong in a red zone stand late in the game against the hard-charging Chargers. Defensively, they played more aggressive and with more passion under new defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel. Crennel returns to Cleveland and should have some tricks up his sleeve for Delhomme. Derrick Johnson was dominant in the MNF NFL picks battle, with 12 tackles and a forced fumble, as was Glen Dorsey, who clogged-up the lanes and chased the quarterback. Crennell also double-teamed the Chargers’ tight end Antonio Gates after he was dominant early on in the NFL predictions contest.

The Browns are as shaky a home week 2 NFL picks favorite as can be found in week two of the Las Vegas NFL odds season and the Chiefs are primed to not only cover the Las vegas line and NFL spread but take the NFL picks win outright in impressive fashion, especially if the defense and special teams come out as fired-up as they did on Monday night.
