Can New Orleans Saints come through again and win 2012 Super Bowl?

New Orleans Saints are one of the NFL Odds makers Super Bowl favorites this 2012 season. 2010 starter Jermon Bushrod's contract has expired. Had we been operating under the non-2010 rules of the prior CBA, he would've hit unrestricted free agency in a lockout-less March. But as it stands, he's in the restricted limbo like scores of his NFL brethren.

If the level of free agents are restricted Bushrod experience, will probably be back for another chance, if not, it is unclear whether New Orleans is willing to pay out a contract on par with the market value.

One reason why that's unclear is that the team has rising second-year pro Charles Brown -- a second-round pick in 2010 -- waiting in the wings. 2012 Super Bowl Odds listed by Online Sports books list New Orleans Saints 12-1.

Brown revealed that James Varney of the New Orleans Times-Picayune that he had surgery two weeks after their first regular season, but is now 100 percent, and eager to fight for the starting left tackle.
