It's been thirty four years since the last time a horse accomplished winning the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. This year I'LL HAVE ANOTHER is one win away from earning the coveted Triple Crown. After beating the favorite in both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, I'LL HAVE ANOTHER is now the Belmont Stakes odds favorite to win the third jewel of the Triple Crown and the horse betting world will have their attention focused on which horse will finish first on Saturday, June 9th. The Belmont Stakes is the longest of the three races making up the Triple Crown, at one and a half miles, the Belmont Stakes is dubbed the "Test of the Champion".
Is I'LL HAVE ANOTHER the real deal? After his convincing come from behind victories, many believe that I'LL HAVE ANOTHER will take the Triple Crown. The last time a Triple Crown winner was crowned was in 1978 when AFFIRMED earned the coveted crown, since then eleven horses have tried, winning both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness, but failed to earn the final jewel of the Triple Crown.
The 144th running of the Belmont Stakes will take place at Belmont Park in Elmont, NY on June 9th and horse betting fans will find out if I'LL HAVE ANOTHER posses speed and stamina it takes to win the Triple Crown.
