2012 Pro Bowl - Las Vegas Betting Odds, Schedule and NFL Predictions: The 2012 Pro Bowl is set to bridge the gap for this years anticipation for the rematch between the Giants and Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI. The Pro Bowl kick off time is scheduled for 7PM ET tomorrow and will be televised on NBC. Each year when the Prop Bowl rolls around I find it tough to get excited over an event that doesn't seem to have the all-out play that I expect from an NFL football game, hopefully this year we will be satisfied.
The 2012 Pro Bowl will take place in Hawaii at Aloha Stadium and will be NBC's sports last opportunity to televise the events under their current contract. ESPN sports has gained broadcast rights and will pickup the broadcast in 2014.
The current Pro Bowl odds posted by Las Vegas odds makers show the NFC listed as this years Pro Bowl betting favorites with a -4-115 point spread versus the AFC who are the underdog at +4-105. The total for this Pro Bowl picks contest is listed at 74 ov-115, an indication that this 2012 Pro Bowl will be a high scoring contest.
The AFC roster features Tom Brady as the starter of the AFC with Ben Rothlisberger and Phillip Rivers as reserve QB's, but with Brady expected in Indy on Feb 5th it's likely Rothlisberger and Rivers will get most of the playing time. In the NFC Aaron Rodgers got the starting spot at QB with Drew Brees and Eli Manning as reserve QB's.
With the expection of the New York Giants and New England Patriots players, this 2012 Pro Bowl should feature some great performances.
My Pro Bowl predictions for this 2012 Pro Bowl picks contest is on the NFC to cover the Las Vegas spreads, the reason is that the NFC starters include better players and many of the AFC starters are on the Patriots and will likely not get much if any playing time.
